Grandma Bobbe's Coffee Cake

Batter -

            Yellow Cake Mix

            Instant Vanilla Pudding

            4 Eggs

            1/2 Carton Sour Cream

            1/2 Cup Milk

            1/2 Cup Oil

Filling -

            1/2 Cup Brown Sugar

            1 Cup Chopped Walnuts

            1 Tsp Instant Coffee

            1 Tsp Cinnamon

            1 Tbl white sugar

At every holiday where my extended family unites, my Grandma Bobbe's Coffee Cake is present. The recipe is in fact secret to those outside the family so unfortunately I cannot include how exactly to make the cake. I chose this recipe because it is my favorite dessert and I want to share it with others.

Mom's Kugel

Filling -

            Wide Noodles

            3 Large Eggs

            3/4 Cup Milk

            3/4 Cup Sour Cream

            1/4 Cup Butter

            1/2 Cup Sugar

            Crushed Pineapple

Topping -

            1 Cup Cornflakes

            2 Tbl Butter

            2 Tbl Sugar

            1/2 Tsp Cinnamon

Kugel is traditionally a Jewish dish and present at most Jewish holidays. My mom's kugel is the best I have ever tasted and she usually makes it when our immediate family is together, whether a Jewish holiday or not.
