In my future, I most likely will live in Southern California with my family. My entire extended family lives in the Los Angeles area and my parents will most likely move back down after I leave for college. Though Sacramento is a great city and a wonderful place for children, I want to be close to my family in Southern California. My dream job is to work as a sports agent for professional athletes. After graduating college, I may attend law school, as most sports agents have their law degree. I plan to live happily and healthily with my wife and children.
I believe that the United States of America will continue to be the dominant world power. I do not think that any major changes will occur domestically in the United States. Though our economy is struggling, the United States will prevail and remain as the world's policeman. China is currently the only country that can compete as the responsible major power of the world but as of late, they are passive to that idea. If in the future China wants to have a role in world dominance, the United States will be forced to share the spotlight and expand their military and economic cooperation with the Chinese.
Basically, the world of our future entirely depends on the actions of China. If China continues to display a complete lack of interest in military conflict outside its borders, they will remain impartial to Iran, North Korea, Sudan, etc. China does not want to lead the world and does not want to be seen as the leader of the developing world. China seems to be hiding their capabilities and does not want to emerge as a world power beyond its own production value. I do not believe that this will change dramatically in the future and the balance of power will remain the same.
